Men's Golf Dominate Big 8 Tournament #2

The FLC men's golf team dominated their Big 8 Tournament #2 last Thursday at Van Buskirk Golf Course in Stockton with a 15-stroke victory over runners-up Delta and Santa Rosa. The team score of 366 set a new all-time low team score for the Falcons. Freshman Chad Vanderdussen led the Falcons with a 3-under-par 69, the second lowest individual score ever for FLC. Sophomore Nick Yell made a notable comeback: after shooting 43 on the front nine, he turned it around with a 4-under-par 32 on the back nine for a commendable 75. The win moved the Falcons to within one point of Big 8 leader Santa Rosa.
