Bats Blaze but Falcons Fall Short: Santa Rosa Secures 15-11 Victory in High-Scoring Showdown

Folsom -  In a high-scoring encounter the Folsom Lake College Falcons faced the Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs in a thrilling matchup. Despite a valiant effort, Folsom Lake fell short as Santa Rosa claimed victory with a final score of 15-11.

Braeden Frank led the offensive charge for the Falcons with three hits and two RBIs, while Michael Ryan and Nate Vargas added three hits each, combining for three RBIs. Despite a commendable offensive effort, Folsom Lake struggled to match Santa Rosa's run production.

Defensively, both teams faced challenges, with a total of six errors committed in the game. Santa Rosa's Hekili Robello and Luke Schat took the mound for a combined effort of nine innings, allowing 11 runs on 14 hits with six strikeouts. Folsom Lake used multiple pitchers, with Ryan Oakes, Carter Henninger, Collin Huston, Ryan Edwards, Andy Uharriet, and Max Debiec collectively allowing 15 runs on 18 hits with six strikeouts.
