Falcons Drop Game Two in LA  

Valley Glen - In the second game of a three-game series, the Folsom Lake College Falcons faced off against the LA Valley College Monarchs in a non-conference matchup. After securing a 7-4 victory in the first game, the Falcons aimed to continue their success in Southern California.

Despite their best efforts, Folsom Lake fell short, as LA Valley emerged victorious with a final score of 10-6. The Falcons displayed resilience and offensive prowess, but the Monarchs' solid pitching and powerful hitting proved to be the difference.

Folsom Lake started the game strong, scoring a run in the top of the fourth inning. However, LA Valley responded with a potent offensive display, putting up four runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. The Monarchs continued to build on their advantage, eventually securing the win with a final score of 10-6.

Notable offensive contributions for Folsom Lake came from Nate Vargas, Max Debiec, and Quincy Malbrough, who each registered multiple hits. Vargas showcased his extra-base hitting ability with a double and a triple, while Debiec and Malbrough combined for three RBIs.

This series marked Folsom Lake's second trip to Southern California this season, providing valuable experience and tough competition for the team as they look ahead to future matchups.
