Stage Set for CCCAA Baseball Folsom Super Regional
Folsom, CA –The Falcons advanced to the CCCAA Baseball NorCal Super Regional which will be hosted by Folsom Lake College Thursday, May 11th-Saturday, May 13th. This year's format features a 3-team, double elimination super regional. Joining the Falcons in the Folsom Super Regional, are the #6 Fresno City College Rams, and the #10 Los Medanos College Mustangs.
The Folsom Lake College Falcons are the number 3 seed in Northern California and reached the super-regional round by defeating the number 22 seeded, College of Marin in two games. The scores of those games were 15-4, and 7-4.
The Fresno City College Rams are the number 6 seed in Northern California and reached the super-regional round by defeating the number 19 seeded, Diablo Valley College in two games. The scores of those games were 8-0, and 10-2.
The Los Medanos College Mustangs are the number 10 seed in Northern California and reached the super-regional round by defeating the number 15 seeded, Ohlone College in three games. The scores of those games were 4-8, 13-11, 20-7.
