The FLC baseball team wrapped up their season-opening series with their third win over Butte College on Sunday afternoon at Falcon Field, 7-2. Freshman sensation Michael Farley continued his torrid start with two more hits - including his third home run of the young season - and drove in three more runs to pace the Falcons. Second baseman Nate George and third baseman Josh Winkler also hit home runs for the Falcons. Reliever Shane Gustafson pitched five shutout innings to earn the win.
Farley now has eight hits in 14 at bats (.571) and has an absurd 1.571 slugging percentage.
The Falcons will return to action on Friday when they travel to Kentfield to play College of Marin.
