Winning Streak Reaches Five For Falcons' Baseball

The FLC baseball team ran their winning streak to a season-best five games with yesterday's 7-6 victory over Laney College in Oakland.  The Falcons rode the big bats of outfielder Blake Rivera and DH Nick Schumacher, who both hit 2-run home runs and together had 6 runs batted in.  Noah Revis-French continued his hot streak with three more hits, including his team-leading 8th double of the season.  Usual centerfielder Michael Majeski started on the mound for the Falcons and lasted five innings, allowing three runs.  Kendall Menard pitched three strong innings in relief, shutting out the Eagles on one hit.

The Falcons return home for a Saturday afternoon matchup with the team they are tied with for third place in the Bay Valley Conference, Napa Valley.
