On Saturday afternoon the Falcons looked to return the favor as they handed the ball to righthander Ryan Pearman. Pearman, along with relievers Zach Reid and Matt Huddleston, shut down the Lobos as they spread out nine hits while issuing just one walk in the 2-0 win. Rightfielder Tyler Kaim scored both of the Falcons' runs; one on an RBI single by DH Nick Schumacher in the 5th and the other on a sacrifice fly by third baseman Zach Rogers in the 7th.
The Falcons completed the non-conference portion of their schedule with an impressive 8-4 record. Bay Valley Conference play commences on Tuesday when FLC travels to Los Medanos College.
