Bio

In her 4th season, she led the Falcons to their 1st Top 8 finish in Northern California, leading the Falcons to their 1st playoff and super regional berth in the history of the program.

Grahlman came to FLC in 2018 after serving as the co-head coach at Santa Ana College for three years, where she led the Dons to the CCCAA state playoffs each year.   In 2018, she guided the Dons to a 2nd place finish in the Orange Empire Conference while earning a #12 seed into the playoffs. 

Prior to Santa Ana, Grahlman spent 3 seasons (2012-2015) at Long Beach City College as an Assistant Coach, where she focused primarily on helping her student-athletes get to four-year universities and obtaining academic success.

In 2012, she spent the year as a temporary Assistant Coach at Whittier College. There, she was given the responsibility of working with pitchers and catchers.  The bulk of her 12 years of experience comes from her tenure at East Los Angeles College, where she served as an Assistant Coach from 2007-2012.  Before her time with East LA College, Grahlman landed her first Head coaching job at Occidental College. She spent two years at the NCAA Division III school, gaining valuable experience.

Amber started her coaching career in 2003-2004 as an Undergraduate Assistant at her alma mater, San Diego State University, after playing catcher for the Aztecs from 2001-2003. While she played, the Aztecs' softball team won back-to-back Mountain West Conference Championships. 

Grahlman graduated from San Diego State with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science and later attended Azusa Pacific University to earn her Master’s Degree in Physical Education.
