Falcons Fall Short in Five-Inning Bout Against San Jose

San Jose - In a road game against San Jose City College Jaguars, the Folsom Lake College Falcons faced a tough challenge, ultimately succumbing to an 8-0 defeat in just five innings. This loss drops the Falcons to a 3-5 record on the season.

The game was called early due to the eight-run rule favoring San Jose, as they secured a commanding lead. The Jaguars displayed a dominant offensive performance, led by Deja Jimenez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and an RBI.

Folsom Lake struggled to find their rhythm at the plate, managing only two hits throughout the game. Isabella Robinson and Aila Lyden split the pitching duties for the Falcons, facing a resilient San Jose lineup that put together 13 hits.
