Falcons Edged Out in Hard-Fought Battle Against Yuba 49ERS
Folsom – The Falcons faced a formidable challenge on their home turf as they clashed with Yuba 49ERS in a non-conference doubleheader. Despite a valiant effort, FLC succumbed to Yuba, who secured the second game with an 8-6 victory.
FLC's Abigail Love and Summer Lagomarsino displayed resilience at the plate, each contributing multiple RBIs. Despite a late-game rally by Folsom Lake, Yuba's Samantha Flores held firm on the mound, securing the win for her team.
The Falcons faced a defensive challenge, committing four errors during the game, which Yuba capitalized on to secure the victory. Isabella Robinson and Aila Lyden split the pitching duties for FLC, with Lyden providing solid relief.
