Folsom Lake Cruises to Victory Against Corsairs

Folsom - In a dominant performance at their home field, theFalcons secured an 11-2 victory over the College of the Redwoods Corsairs in the second game of a non-conference double header that ended after five innings due to the "eight-run rule."

The Falcons' offense was firing on all cylinders, registering a total of 13 hits and showcasing their prowess at the plate. Isabella Robinson, taking the mound and contributing with the bat, led the charge with two hits, including a double, and an RBI. The Falcons' disciplined approach and aggressive base-running allowed them to take control early and maintain their lead throughout the game.

Jazlyn Basquez, Araceli Jaimes, and Abigail Love each played a crucial role in the offensive onslaught, contributing hits and RBIs to Folsom Lake's impressive run total. Clare Yanez's three RBIs and Summer Lagomarsino's timely hit added further depth to the Falcons' scoring.

On the defensive side, Aila Lyden delivered a stellar performance, holding the Corsairs to just two runs on nine hits over four innings. The Falcons' fielders backed up their pitcher, making key plays and minimizing the Corsairs' scoring opportunities.
