Falcons get first Big 8 win
The Falcons hosted Modesto Junior College on Saturday for a Big 8 Conference doubleheader and earned their first conference victory with an 8-3 win in the opener. Freshman pitcher Lauren Orris pitched a complete game for the Falcons as she repeatedly worked out of trouble to earn the win. The Falcons scored in every inning but the second as they collected 11 hits, including two each for McKenna Rickles, Gaby Fruciano, Brieana Maddux, and Mac Robertson.
