Folsom – The first of two games between the Falcons and Hawks ended in a 1-1 tie on Friday at Cosumnes River College.
The Falcons went up one goal in the 14th minute, but the Hawks equalized in the 53rd minute after penalty kick was awarded and made.
In the 55th minute, the Falcons went down a player after goalkeeper Alonso Ruiz received a red card and in the 80th minute, CRC's Marco Valdez also received a red card which resulted in each side playing with 10 players for the remainder of the game.
Halfway into the Big 8 Conference schedule, the Falcons hold a record of 3-1-1 (7-4-2 overall) and remain in second place in conference standings.
