Golfers win third straight tournament with another impressive team score

The Folsom Lake men's golf team won their third consecutive tournament on Friday in Big 8 Tournament #5 at The Reserve at Spanos Park with an impressive team score of 374.  The Falcons won by 12 strokes over Napa Valley and 25 strokes ahead of third-place Sierra.  Freshman Giacomo Sorentino won 'Low Medalist' honors with his round of 71, the fourth Falcon to win Low Medalist this season.  

By winning, the golfers moved four points ahead of Napa Valley in the Big 8 standings and hope to add to their lead with Big 8 Tournament #6 on their home course at Rancho Murieta on Wednesday.
