Men’s Basketball Struggles in Big 8 Clash Against Cosumnes River College

Sacramento: In a challenging away game at Cosumnes River College's Clark Court, the Folsom Lake Falcons faced a formidable opponent in the Hawks. Unfortunately, the Falcons couldn't secure a victory, falling to the Hawks with a final score of 83-58 in this Big 8 Conference showdown.

The Falcons entered the game with a season record of 5-10, looking to turn the tide in their favor in the conference. However, the Hawks, backed by their home crowd, proved to be a tough adversary.

Alan Davis, Jr. led the scoring for Folsom Lake with a double-double performance, contributing 10 points and 10 rebounds. Te'And Indalecio also showcased his skills, adding 19 points to the Falcons' total. Despite these efforts, the Falcons struggled to keep pace with the Hawks throughout the game.

The box score reflected the challenges faced by Folsom Lake, with a 38.3% overall shooting accuracy and only a 10% success rate from beyond the arc. In contrast, the Hawks dominated the paint, securing 46 points to the Falcons' 16. The team also faced difficulties in fast break situations, managing only 2 points compared to the Hawks' 6.

The game's tempo saw Folsom Lake trailing 36-21 at halftime, and despite a better showing in the second half, they were unable to overcome the deficit.
