Vikings Pull Away From Falcons, Losing Streak Continues

Pleasant Hill: The Folsom Lake College Falcons embarked on a crucial away game against the Diablo Valley Vikings, desperately seeking to break free from their three-game losing streak. But it wasn't meant to be as Diablo Valley College defeated the Falcons 70-60.

From the opening tip-off, the Falcons exhibited determination, with Te'And Indalecio leading the charge. The first half unfolded as a tightly contested battle, with both teams vying for control. Folsom Lake held a narrow 33-32 lead at halftime, providing a glimmer of hope for the Falcons faithful.

Alan Davis, Jr., a force in the paint, dominated the boards with an impressive 18 rebounds, while Logan Rexford showcased his three-point shooting prowess. However, Diablo Valley responded with tenacity, and the game remained on a knife's edge.

As the second half commenced, the Vikings, spurred on by their home crowd, managed to outscore the Falcons 38-27 in the final period. Folsom Lake fought valiantly, but turnovers and defensive challenges proved to be their Achilles' heel.

In the end, the scoreboard read Folsom Lake 60, Diablo Valley 70, marking another heartbreaking loss for the Falcons. Despite the defeat, the players displayed resilience, with individual performances shining through. Alan Davis, Jr.'s double-double and Logan Rexford's sharpshooting were commendable efforts in the face of adversity.
