The Falcon men opened the Saltwater Tournament in Aptos on Friday against Coast Conference heavyweight College of San Mateo, who entered the tournament undefeated and ranked 8th in California. But the Falcons weren't intimidated and after falling behind by 10 points, closed the gap to trail by just one at halftime. In the second half the Falcons found a toughness they'd been lacking so far this season and continued to hit their shots, resulting in a four-point win over the Bulldogs. Sophomore Dane Johnson had a game-high 19 points while shooting 50% (7-of-14) and also grabbed 8 rebounds. Freshman Te'And Indalecio had a breakout game with 12 points (4-of-7 shooting) and Michael Robinson matched that with 12 points (4-of-5 shooting) of his own.
