Falcons  Secure Victory in Final Non-Conference Game

Folsom - In the final non-conference game of the season, the Folsom Lake College Falcons emerged victorious against the Merced College Blue Devils, securing a 7-6 win at their home ground. This result marked the conclusion of the non-conference slate for the Falcons, finishing with a solid 9-6 record.

Key performances by Logan Pruski, Braeden Frank, Michael Ryan, and Nate Vargas contributed to the Falcons' success. Merced College's Felix Daclan displayed notable skill with a triple and three RBIs, but Folsom Lake's strategic plays ultimately sealed the victory.

On the pitching front, Max Debiec started for Folsom Lake, with Carter Henninger, Kyle Bender, and Nate Brouse closing out the game.

The Falcons secured an early lead in the first inning with Nate Vargas's sacrifice fly. Despite Merced College's efforts, Folsom Lake rallied in the fifth inning, highlighted by key hits from Michael Ryan, Nate Vargas, and Quincy Malbrough. Braeden Frank's RBI single in the sixth inning proved decisive, capping off a closely contested non-conference battle.
