Falcons Complete Double-Header Sweep Against Mendocino College

Folsom - Folsom Lake showcased their offensive prowess once again, securing a commanding 27-1 victory over the Mendocino College Eagles in the second game of a double-header. With the earlier win of 12-2 in the first game, the Falcons left no doubt about their dominance on their home turf.

FLC continued their impressive hitting display, amassing 22 hits in the game, adding to the 15 hits they registered in the first matchup. Logan Pruski led the charge with a triple and two doubles, while Michael Ryan and Max Debiec both contributed home runs, each driving in four and three runs, respectively.

The Falcons' offensive onslaught didn't stop there, as multiple players, including Quincy Malbrough, Brady White, Nate Vargas, and Kobe Rolling, made significant contributions to the team's massive run total.

Pitcher Gavin McLendon set the tone with a solid two innings on the mound, not allowing a single hit and striking out five Mendocino College batters. The Folsom Lake pitching staff, including Jake McKowen, Andy Uharriet, and Nate Brouse, continued their effective performance, limiting the Eagles to only one run on the day.

The final score of 27-1 reflected the Falcons' dominance and showcased their ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Folsom Lake displayed depth in their lineup and pitching staff, sending a clear message as they wrapped up the double-header with an emphatic sweep.
