Falcons open series at Santa Rosa with 9-1 win

The Folsom Lake baseball team, fresh off a series sweep of American River, opened their series against Santa Rosa with another win on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Rosa.  The Falcons again received another quality outing from their starter and plenty of offense from their potent lineup on their way to their 16th win of the seaason.  Starter Carter Delaney went 7-2/3 innings while allowing just one run on five hits and walking just one Bear Cub.  The Falcon offense banged out 13 hits, including home runs by Jared Breedwell and Cole Tremain and three hits from JT Waldon.  

The Falcons (16-2-1 overall, 4-0 in Big 8) will host Santa Rosa (13-7, 3-4 in Big 8) on Thursday, then return to Santa Rosa for the series finale on Friday.
