In the second game, the Falcons got another excellent performance from their starter, this time by freshman Trevor Johnson. Johnson gave up just two hits in his six scoreless innings while striking out 6 Mariners. The Falcons' offensive star was designated hitter Alex Schroeder, who was 3-for-4 with a homer, a double, and 3 RBI. Braeden Holliday had two hits and scored twice, and Isaiah Lissade had a triple and a run scored.
The Falcons' Monday game at Butte has been postponed until Tuesday with hopes of better weather, and this weekend's series against Gavilan will be played in Gilroy due to the current field conditions at FLC.
