Falcons sweep CRC in regular season finale for 3rd sweep in a row

The Folsom Lake volleyball team, which went 4+ games without winning a set just a couple weeks ago, has now won their last three matches of the regular season without losing a set after Tuesday night's 3-0 win (25-16, 25-19, 25-16) at Cosumnes River.  The Falcons have thankfully rediscovered their previous performance level just in time for the CCCAA state playoffs, which will begin on Tuesday November 22.  

At CRC, the Falcons had big nights from several players and played extremely well collectively.  Mikayla Ide had 14 kills and 10 digs, Olivia Rush had 8 kills and 4 blocks, Kendall Hughes had 6 kills/ 42 assists/ 5 digs/ and 2 blocks, Mackenzie Natusch added 6 kills/ 8 digs/ and 2 blocks, and so on....   

The Falcons finished the regular season with a 16-11 overall record and 4th place in the Big 8 at 9-7.  They won't know their playoff opponent until Thursday, but are hoping for a home game (top 8 seeds) on November 22.
