After splitting their two previous meetings earlier this season, the ARC and Folsom Lake volleyball teams met for one last time in 2019 on Saturday night with a berth in the state championships at stake.
Whatever it was that cost the Falcons the opening set in their round 1 playoff match against Foothill on Tuesday night, they made the correction and won the next three sets to earn the victory, 21-25, 25-21, 25-12, 27-25.
A rare bye in the Big 8 schedule gave the Folsom Lake Falcons a chance to take on Bay Valley Conference leading Solano Falcons on Wednesday night in Fairfield, where the visiting Falcons (FLC) won in three sets, 25-18, 25-23, 25-22.
