After a close opening match at the Renegade Classic in Fremont, the FLC volleyball team had a much easier go as they defeated Napa Valley, 25-12, 25-11, 25-7 in their second match on Wednesday afternoon. Freshman Cassondra ("Mighty") Gomez set the tone with her outstanding defensive play, while freshman middle blocker Alicia Wilson made life miserable for the Napa Valley hitters.
With an early-season record of 2-0, the Falcons will face Lassen College on Saturday afternoon (1:00 pm) at Falcon Gym.
