The Falcons went up against Big 8 Conference co-leader Sierra College on Friday evening in Rocklin and gave the Wolverines much more than they bargained for. Sierra eventually won the match 3-1, but the Falcons made them earn the victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, and 25-21. Kylie Haverson and Kate Nicknig led the Falcon attack with 11 and 8 kills, respectively. Alexis Mauck recorded 20 digs and two service aces while setter Isabel Mason tallied 16 digs to go with her 28 assists. With two home matches this week, the Falcons have a chance to improve their 6th place standing (out of 9) in the Big 8. They'll host Delta College on Wednesday at 6:30 pm, then welcome in Cosumnes River on Friday at 6:30pm.
