Women’s tennis edged by Sequoias

Blessed with abundant sunshine and spring-like temperatures, the Falcons hosted College of the Sequoias on Tuesday afternoon at the Lorimer-Bruns Tennis Complex, but came up just short as they lost to the Giants, 5-4.  The Falcons actually won 4 of the 7 matches played, but had to forfeit two matches due to having just five players, and those forfeits were the difference between winning and losing.  The Falcons' top two players, Mallory Snarr and Pili Gallegos, were winners in both singles and doubles. 

The women will begin preparations for Big 8 Conference play, which begins next Tuesday, February 18 against American River at FLC.
