Cassandra Herrman named to 2021 All-America 2nd team

Folsom Lake College women's soccer player Cassandra Herrman was named to the United Soccer Coaches' 2021 Junior College Division All-America 2nd team on Tuesday.   This year's All-Americans will be recognized at the All-America Ceremony and Reception on Jan. 22, 2022 during the 2022 United Soccer Coaches Convention in Kansas City, MO. 

Herrman started and played every minute of all 22 Falcons' games in 2021.  She transferred to FLC after spending her freshman year at Cal State Bakersfield (NCAA Div II).  The Ponderosa HS graduate will attend Sac State in 2022 on an athletic scholarship, where she will anchor the Hornets' defense as she did for the Falcons.  Herrman was a major reason the Falcons allowed just 8 goals the entire season, the fourth lowest total in the state in 2021.
