The Folsom Lake women ran into a buzz saw when they took on the #2 ranked team in the state, Sierra College, in round two of the CCCAA regional playoffs on Thursday night in Rocklin. The Wolverines dominated the game from start to finish and made it clear who the better team was. They led by 27 at halftime and by 39 at the end of three quarters before easing off the gas in the final quarter.
The Falcons finished the '21-22 season with an overall record of 12-16 and were 7-7 in the ultra-competitive Big 8 Conference. They qualified for the CCCAA playoffs for the second consecutive season and won their first ever home playoff game. Congratulations, Falcons, on an outstanding season!
