With a handful of highly ranked teams in attendance, the Delta College Tournament looked like a mine field for the Falcons' season-opening games.
In Friday's win over Chabot, sophomore guard Jasmine Hess shot 72% (13-for-18) on her way to 34 points while grabbing 9 rebounds. Sophomore Delaney Keddie had 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals in the victory.
The Falcons will face SoCal #1 Moorpark in the tournament semi-finals on Saturday evening.
