Playing against Big 8 Conference co-leader Delta College, the FLC women's basketball team had their hands full on Friday night, losing 83-57 in Stockton. The Mustang defense came up with 18 steals and forced a total of 23 Falcon turnovers while giving the ball up just 12 times. For the Falcons, freshman Shay Boley continued her resurgence with a 21 point/7 rebound effort. Sophomore Alma Perez added 14 points, including 10-of11 from the free throw line. The Mustangs (21-4 overall) remain in the hunt for a Big 8 title at 12-1, while the Falcons slipped to 8-14 overall and 3-9 in Big 8 play.
