Falcons hang close before falling to DVC

With one starter out sick and another on the bench for most of the game with an early injury, the Falcon women made a valiant effort to stay with the #10-ranked team in California before eventually falling, 91-42.  The Falcons kept it close in the first half as they trailed just 43-31 at halftime.  But without the services of two of their top three scorers, the points were hard to come by as the Vikings dominated the second half.  Faith Wilson led the Falcons with 14 points while Nicole Ayala added 10.  The Falcons won't play again until Thursday (Jan 11) when they travel to Delta College.
