Falcons win at ARC, 6-1
After trailing the Beavers 1-0 for four innings, the Folsom Lake softball team found their swings and rallied for four runs in the sixth inning on their way to a 6-1 victory over American River on Tuesday afternoon at ARC. Falcon pitcher Adriana Gonzalez kept the Beaver hitters off-balance, allowing just three hits and two walks in seven innings. Leftfielder Haylee Reginato had three hits, including an RBI double in the sixth inning. Sophomore outfielder Hannah Dominguez knocked in two runs with a double and a sacrifice fly.
The Falcons (14-7, 6-2 in Big 8) will host Big 8 leader Sierra (19-6, 8-1) on Thursday evening at 5:00 pm in a make-up of Saturday's postponement.
