Beavers win on Falcon error in extra innings

The Falcons and Beavers were locked into a pitchers' duel on Friday afternoon at American River College, but the Beavers came away with the win when they scored the only run of the game with one out in the eighth inning. Falcon pitcher Jenna Kendrick went the distance, allowing just 4 hits and no earned runs, but was the victim of some bad luck. The Beavers' winning run scored on an errant pickoff throw that hit the third base bag.
