Playing a make-up doubleheader rescheduled by mid-March rain, the Falcons continued their recent offensive struggles as they were shut out in the for the third consecutive game, 11-0, in the opener. Sophomores McKenna Rickles and Kelsey Liddell had two hits apiece, but the rest of the lineup managed just one hit.
In the second game, the Falcon bats came to life as they built a 3-0 lead after three inning and led 4-2 after five. But the Bear Cubs fought back to score six runs over the final two innings to win 8-4. McKenna Rickles and Kelsey Liddell again paced the Falcons' offense with five of the team's nine hits between them.
The loss dropped the Falcons' record to 3-11 in Big 8, 9-18 overall.
