With an offensive attack that produced nine runs in the first two innings – and tallied at least one run in every inning but the third – the FLC women's softball team rolled to 13-6 victory over visiting Lassen College on Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Diamond. Five Falcons recorded multi-hit games as the team pounded out 16 hits – including 4 doubles and a home run - in route to victory. Catcher Kaitlyn Karmazen was 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and a double, while centerfielder/pitcher McKenna Rickles was just a triple short of hitting for the 'cycle'. Her second-inning home run was the team's first of the year and easily traveled 240 feet. Rightfielder Tatyana Rosen had 2 doubles and drove in 4 runs with her 3 hits. The Falcons improved their early season record to 2-5 and will look to add to the win column on Thursday when they visit Yuba College for an afternoon doubleheader.
