The Falcons hosted Yuba College, an ex-rival from the Bay Valley Conference, on Thursday afternoon, but the 49ers left with a 7-4 victory. After the Falcons grabbed a 2-1 first inning lead, the 49ers capitalized on outfield errors in the 2nd inning as they scored four runs. The Falcons made a game of it in the 7th inning and after scoring two runs even had the potential tying run at the plate, but left the runners stranded as the game ended. Shortstop McKenna Rickles raised her team-leading batting average to .400 with two hits, while Kelsey Liddell had an RBI triple.
