Game two slips away vs Butte

Anxious to put that first game behind them, the Falcons got their bats going in game two as they built a 9-3 lead after 4-1/2 innings.  After the Roadrunners scored three in the fifth to make it 9-6, it was apparent the home team wasn't about to lie down.  The wheels fell off for the Falcons in the seventh as Butte scored four runs (two earned) to get the 10-9 win.  Despite the loss, the Falcons had their biggest offensive output of the season as they collected 13 hits and had four players with multi-hit games (McKenna Rickles, Abbie Strickland, and Mac Robertson with two each, and Makalah Alexander with three).
