The FLC softball team made their 2017 season debut at San Jose City College on Tuesday afternoon, but fell to the Jaguars. 8-0. The Falcons' offense couldn't do much against the San Jose pitcher, who allowed just two FLC hits. Still, there were bright spots for the Falcons, including catcher Gabby Fruciano's double in the second inning. Freshman pitcher Lauren Orris was effective in her debut as she allowed just two earned runs, but was doomed by some poor Falcon defense in the fourth inning. The Falcons next game will be at Chabot College in Hayward on Tuesday, Feb 7.
