The Falcons took on Diablo Valley and San Jose City in round robin action on Saturday in San Jose, but couldn't collect their first victory of the young season. With several key players out with injuries, the Falcons were playing rather shorthanded. In the opener against DVC, the Vikings scored early and often as they built a 7-0 lead after two innings. Though they managed five hits (to DVC's six), the FLC women failed to score, losing 9-0.
In the afternoon game, the Jaguars had 10 hits (including five doubles) as San Jose notched the 13-0 victory.
