Falcon men fall to Fresno

Facing the #3 ranked team in the state, the Falcons succumbed to a talented Fresno City squad on Friday afternoon, 3-0, in Fresno.  The undefeated Rams (11-0-5 overall) capitalized on an early Falcon defensive mistake and turned it into a 1-0 lead when Eduardo Segura scored the first of his two goals in the seventh minute of play.  Neither team scored again in the first half, but the Rams struck again 10 minutes into the second half.  Segura then added his second goal of the match three minutes later for a commanding 3-0 lead.

The Falcons (10-2-5 overall, 3-0-2 in Big 8) will enjoy a day off on Tuesday, then resume Big 8 play on Friday when they visit Modesto (8-6-2 overall, 1-4 in Big 8) at 3:00 pm.
