Falcon golfers shine at NorCal Preview Tournament

Fresh off their Big 8 Conference championship, the Folsom Lake golf team served notice on Thursday that they are the team to beat going into NorCals.  The Regional Preview Tournament held at Old Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey - the site of the Norcal Regional Championship on May 9 - does not count in any standings, but provides the northern California teams an opportunity to preview the NorCal championships course.  The Falcons, despite playing with just five golfers instead of six, shot a team score of 377 to win by five strokes over runner-up Reedley and 17 strokes ahead of third-place Fresno City.   Individually, Patrick Dumag led the Falcons with a sparkling round of 69.

The Falcons will use the next week to practice before heading to Monterey in their quest for the NorCal Championship.
