Falcon golfers clinch Big 8 title with 8th consecutive tournament win!

The Folsom Lake men's golf team are the 2022 Big 8 champions after Wednesday's tournament victory at Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin.  The Falcons shot 397 on a course that appeared to be set up for a PGA championship with brutal pin placements and a difficult wind blowing.  The tournament victory was the Falcons' eighth straight and clinched the Big 8 title with one tournament yet to play.  Patrick Dumag was the low medalist and FLC's low scorer for the second consecutive tournament, with Arturo Zavala and Giacomo Sorrentino close behind at 77.

With the Big 8 title now clinched, the only thing to be decided at next Monday's final Big 8 tournament is the Individual Low Medalist title.  Any one of four Falcons could claim the trophy: Dumag, Sorrentino, Zavala, and Drew Greco.  This should be fun!
