Falcon golfers open season with a win

The FLC men's golf team took advantage of the unseasonable spring weather on Wednesday afternoon to open their season with a practice-match victory over Napa Valley at Rancho Murieta Country Club.  The Falcons shot 399 - "way too many double & triple bogeys," according to head coach Barry Zarecky - to win by 30 strokes.  Freshman Giacomo Sorentino led the scoring with a round of 75, while four Falcons all finished at 81.  

"Considering this was our first competition in two years, I know we'll get better," noted Zarecky.
