Golfers capture second straight tournament victory

In what may well be their final tournament of the 2020 season, the FLC men's golf team earned their second consecutive victory with a commanding 22-stroke win in Big 8 tournament #6 at Rancho Murieta on Wednesday.  The Falcons, with a team score of 399, took over sole possession of first place with the dominant win over 2nd place Napa Valley, who shot 421.  Nathan Jetton led all players with his even-par 72, six strokes ahead of three players tied at 78, including FLC's Kaden Ward.  It was Jetton's second consecutive tournament win and put him in the lead for Big 8 MVP.  With the rest of the season now on hold and not likely to resume due to the COVID-19 virus, the Falcons can smile with the knowledge they won their final two tournaments and were in first place when the plug was pulled.
