Falcons open season at Woodland Invitational

The Falcons opened their 2019 season with an Invitational Tournament at Yolo Fliers Golf Club in Woodland on Monday and their result carried both good news and bad news.  The bad news?  The Falcons finished sixth in the 12-team tournament with a team score of 401.  The good news?  The Falcons' 401 placed them ahead of all six Big 8 Conference opponents.  Sophomores Max Menconi (2018 Big 8 MVP) and Brandon Kelly led the team with rounds of 74 and 77, but the scores dropped off dramatically after those two.  Sophomore Krishton Trimp and freshman Drew Greco shot 83, sophomore Ethan Serrano had an 84, and freshman Steve Bennett finished with 87.
