Falcons win final Big 8 tournament

With the Big 8 title already in hand, the FLC men's golf team finished off the Big 8 schedule with a tie for first place in Big 8 tournament #13 at Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa on Wednesday afternoon.  The Falcons shot 381 with five players scoring in the 70's, including sophomore Mason Troike, who capped a stellar year with a round of 73 while earning his second Big 8 MVP award in as many years.  Also earning All-Big 8 honors were freshman Connor Gaymon (5th overall) and sophomore Chad VanderDussen (6th).  

The Falcons are off next week before playing in the NorCal Regional championship on Monday, May 8 at Spanos Reserve in Stockton, where they'll hope to qualify for the state championship tournament with a team finish of fourth place or better.
