Golfers Continue Hot Streak, Increase Big 8 Lead

Playing against 13 other teams, the FLC men's golf team continued their steady season-long improvement with a second place finish in Monday's NorCal Major Tournament #4 at San Juan Oaks in Hollister.  Playing in cold and windy conditions, the Falcons tamed the tight and very difficult course with a team score of 382, just five shots back of team champion Chabot College.  Freshman Chris McKnight led the Falcons with a 1-under par 71,  good enough for third place overall.  Among Big 8 (North) teams, the Falcons picked up another victory and gained another two points in the standings on Santa Rosa, who now trail FLC by six points with four tournaments remaining.
