Men's Golf Wins Big 8 #5
The FLC men's golf team regained their winning form yesterday at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course with a 5-stroke victory over conference leader Santa Rosa in Big 8 Tournament #5. The win tightens up the Big 8 standings, with Santa Rosa's lead now just 3 points over the Falcons. Freshmen Matt Shirley and Chad Vanderdussen led FLC with rounds of 74 and 75, respectively, on a wind-blown day with rock-hard greens and tough pin placements that were not conducive to low scores.
