Golf Loses Another Close one to Santa Rosa

In what's starting to sound like a broken record, the FLC men's golf team again failed to capitalize on an opportunity to gain some ground on conference leader Santa Rosa in yesterday's Big 8 Tournament #4.  Playing on their home course at Rancho Murieta, the Falcons had three players score in the 80's which resulted in a mediocre team score of 387, but was just two strokes behind tournament winner Santa Rosa.  Freshman Chad Vanderdussen again led the Falcons with a round of 71 and is beginning to stand out as the team's most consistent golfer.  The Falcons remain in second place in the Big 8, five points behind leader Santa Rosa.
