After a sluggish start on Tuesday night at Falcon Gym, the FLC men's basketball team started clicking on all cylinders and buried visiting Solano College by 40 points, 98-58. A relatively close first half (42-35) became a runaway for FLC as they outscored Solano 56-23 over the final 20 minutes. The Falcons demostrated how to play 'Team Basketball' by dishing out 32 assists, an all-time Folsom Lake record. Five Falcons scored in double figures, led again by Pierce Rexford's double-double (28 points, 11 rebounds). Dane Johnson also recorded a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds, plus 6 blocked shots. Cameron Wall had 15 points and 9 assists, while Jaylen Solich and Donovan Cokley both chipped in 13 points.
The Falcons evened their season record at 5-5 and will face a stiff challenge on Friday against West Valley (10-2). They'll also take on Cuesta (3-8) of San Luis Obispo on Saturday at West Valley.
